the second edition of the 'Lätzsch Trombone Festival' will take place on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th of December 2011.

This festival is again specifically aimed at advanced Tenor and Bass trombone players who wish to improve and polish their preparation for an audition.

In other words, this entire festival will be aimed at 'AUDITION'.

During the course you will be in the capable hands of the best professional trombone players who will train you in the necessary skills needed to win an audition.

We have place for a limited number of trombonists.

20 active Tenor Trombone and 20 active Bass Trombone.

The festival 2011 will culminate in a evening concert

on Saturday evening 10-12-2011 together with

'The Netherlands Symphony Orchestra'

and 'The Millennium Jazz Orchestra'

'NIGHT OF THE BRASS'

Performers:

- all 40 participating festival trombonists

- 'The Netherlands Symphony Orchestra'

- Thomas Trachsel (conductor)

- 'The Millennium Big Band'

- Jiggs Whigham (conductor)

- Chris Houlding (soloist)

- Zoltan Kiss (soloist)

- Csaba Wagner (soloist)

- Jiggs Whigham (soloist)

During this concert the winners of the 'AUDITION',

will be announced.

1st. PRIZE

A New 'Lätzsch Trombone'.

2nd. PRIZE

Concert project with

'The Netherlands Symphony Orchestra' (NSO)
